Palak paneer is a veggie lover dish from the Punjab region, comprising of paneer (Indian cheddar) in a thick glue produced using puréed spinach and prepared with garlic, garam masala, and other spices. Spinach leaves (washed)-250gm
Paneer (cubes)-200gm
Cumin Seeds- 1/2 Tsp.
Green chili - 3 Pics.
Chopped ginger -1inch
Garlic Clove(peeled)-15 to 16
Chopped onion -1 large
Chopped tomato-1 big size
Fresh cream -2 tbsp.
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp.
Kashmiri red chili powder-1tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp.
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp.
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp.
Vegetable oil -4 tbsp.
Salt to taste.

How To Make Palak Paneer Recipe


First of all to make the palak paneer recipe turn on the flame and boil 2 liters of water in a pan or pot. Cover it and boil it on high flame. Then add spinach leaves in the hot water & Cook it for two minutes on high flame.


After two minutes take it out from the boiling water, now add pour little cold water on the leaves. Take out the leaves in a blending jar & keep it aside.


Turn on the flame & heat a pan, Add oil and let it heat. Then add spices one by one
Add cumin seeds & fry it for some time then add green chili ginger garlic & onion
Mix it very well; Fry it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.


After 2 to 3 Minutes Add chopped tomato & mix it very well, Cook the tomato on medium flame till it turns little soft(2-3 minutes). then Turn off the flame and let it cool down.


Now take out the Fried Ingredients in the Same Blanding jar. Blend it into a paste, add little Water and blend it again, now paste is ready to cook.


Heat the same pan again, add oil and let it heat. Once the oil is heated reduce the flame to low then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder & cumin powder into the hot oil. Mix it, now add the prepared paste & Stir paste. Cover the pan and cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.


After 2-3 minutes stir it then add fresh cream and mix it, also add garam masala powder, salt as to taste. then mix it very well after mixing add paneer cubes, Gently stir it. Cover the pan and cook it 2 minutes on low flame. After 2 minutes open the lid and stir it. Garnish with little fresh cream and grated paneer. Now palak paneer is ready.
